Welcome to your ParkPlus Towing Dashboard! This is your central command for managing all towing activities. Designed for speed and efficiency, it gives you an immediate overview of key operations, recent activities, and important alerts as soon as you log in. Get the vital info without the hassle!

Why it's powerful: Stay informed, react quickly, and manage your towing fleet and operations more effectively.

Key Dashboard Elements:

At the top, you'll find quick summary cards:
  • Yards: Shows the number of vehicles currently marked 'At Yard' for each configured impound yard.
  • Tows: Displays tow counts for Today, the Last 7 Days, and the Last 30 Days. These counts help you track recent towing activity trends.

Benefit: Get an immediate overview of yard inventory and recent tow volume.

A central feature is the interactive map showing:
  • Driver Locations: Blue markers indicate the last reported location (within the hour) of your drivers. Click for name, phone, and timestamp.
  • Dispatched Tows: Red markers show the pickup location for tows with 'Dispatched' status.
  • Tows in Progress: Green markers show the pickup location for tows with 'Tow in Progress' status.
  • Popups & Actions: Clicking tow markers shows details (vehicle, status, timestamp) and allows driver assignment/update via a dropdown and button directly on the map.

Benefit: Visualize your fleet and active jobs in real-time for better dispatching and situational awareness.

Below the map, a table lists all currently active (not 'Released') tows:
  • Actions: Buttons to open the tow in Google Maps (if location available), Edit the tow record, or Delete the record (Admin/Dispatcher only).
  • Driver Assignment: You can assign or unassign drivers directly from this table. Changing the driver will update the tow's status accordingly.
  • Type: Category of the tow.
  • Status: Current stage with color-coded badges (Red, Yellow, Blue).
  • Date: Tow creation timestamp.
  • Vehicle: Make and model.
  • Violation: Reason for the tow.
  • Driver: Assigned driver's name.

Benefit: Provides a detailed, sortable list view of all ongoing jobs and allows quick driver assignment management.

A prominent "Create Dispatch" button allows you to quickly start a new tow record manually.

Benefit: Easily initiate tows that don't originate from a property manager request or patrol scan.
