Keep Track of Every Vehicle!
Managing resident, staff, or visitor parking permits is effortless with ParkPlus! Our Vehicle Management tools let you maintain a clear, up-to-date registry of all vehicles authorized to park at your properties. Add new permits, update details, set expirations, and ensure compliance with ease.
Why it's essential: A central vehicle registry is key for effective parking enforcement, ensuring only authorized vehicles are present and permits are current.
Viewing Registered Vehicles:
Access the 'Vehicles' or 'Permits' section from your main navigation menu. This page displays a list of all registered vehicles for your company.
Filter Power! Use the dropdown menu (usually labeled "Filter by Property") at the top of the list to view vehicles registered only for a specific property. This is super helpful for managing larger portfolios!
Adding a New Vehicle Permit:
Registering a new vehicle is quick and ensures it's recognized by the system:
- Locate "Add Vehicle" Button: On the main 'Vehicles' page, click the "Add Vehicle", "New Permit", or button.

Fill in Permit Details: You'll land on the 'Vehicle Configuration' page. Fill in the details accurately:
- Type: Select the permit type (e.g., "Resident", "Staff").
- Property: Choose the associated property.
- Unit / Space: Enter the unit or space number (optional).
- Vehicle Details: Enter Year, Make, Model, and Color. If left blank, these will default to "Unspecified".
- Tag (License Plate): Crucial! Enter the plate number accurately. It will be stored in ALL CAPS automatically.
- Expiration Date: Select the permit expiration date. This controls when the vehicle's parking permission expires.
- Double-Check: Review the license plate and expiration date carefully.
- Save: Click the "Save", "Create", or "Submit" button.
Editing an Existing Vehicle/Permit:
Made a mistake, need to update details, or extend a permit? Easy!
- Go to Vehicle List: Navigate to the main 'Vehicles' list.
- Find Vehicle: Locate the vehicle record you need to update (use the property filter if helpful).
- Click Edit: Click the "Edit", "Configure", or pencil icon () next to the record.
- Make Changes: Update the necessary fields (e.g., unit number, vehicle color, expiration date).
- Save: Click "Save", "Update", or "Submit" to apply your changes.
Deleting a Vehicle Registration:
When a vehicle no longer needs a permit (e.g., resident moved out):
- Go to Vehicle List: Navigate to the main 'Vehicles' list.
- Find Registration: Locate the vehicle registration to remove.
- Click Delete: Click the "Delete", "Remove", or trash can icon () next to the record.
- Confirm: Confirm the deletion if prompted.
